2. Our Commitment to Privacy

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

3. Information We Collect

(a) Information you provide: full name, email, phone, business name, ABN, trade licences, service area, trade categories, profile photos, portfolio images, project details, uploaded house plans, quote information, messages, payment information processed by Stripe, referral codes.

(b) Automatically collected: IP address, device info, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, cookies.

Create and manage accounts
Match homeowners with tradespeople
Facilitate quoting and hiring
Process payments via Stripe
Send notifications about leads, quotes, and messages
Send email notifications for matching leads (tradies)
Manage referral program and credit rewards
Verify ABN details

Comply with legal obligations

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell data. We share with: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and storage), Lovable (hosting), Resend (email). Between users: homeowner suburb/state/project details visible to relevant tradies; tradesperson business name/ABN/licence/rating visible to homeowners; public trade profiles visible to homeowners. Legal: disclosed where required by law.

6. Data Storage and Security

Stored on Supabase servers. Row-level security, encrypted HTTPS connections, secure private storage buckets, Supabase Auth with Google OAuth.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Access your data, request correction, make a complaint, request deletion. Contact privacy@priceyourplans.com.au. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

Used for login sessions, preferences, and analytics. Can be disabled in browser settings.

9. Data Retention

Data retained while account is active. Deleted within 90 days of account closure. Project files deleted 12 months after project closure.

10. Changes to This Policy

Users notified of material changes by email or in-app notification.
