Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using priceyourplans.com.au you agree to these Terms. Legally binding agreement with Price Your Plans, Newcastle NSW Australia.
2. Eligibility
Must be 18+, Australian resident or registered Australian business, valid legal capacity. Tradespeople must hold valid ABN and all required trade licences.
3. Platform Description
Online marketplace connecting homeowners with verified tradespeople. We facilitate connections but are not a party to agreements between users.
4. User Accounts
Provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for account security. One account per person or business. Notify legal@priceyourplans.com.au of unauthorised access.
5. Homeowner Obligations
Provide accurate project info and genuine house plans you have rights to share. Make genuine quote requests with real intention to proceed. Respond professionally. Do not share tradesperson contact details outside the platform.
6. Tradesperson Obligations
Hold valid ABN and all required licences, insurances, and certifications. Provide accurate business information. Submit genuine and accurate quotes. Honour accepted quotes. Maintain adequate public liability insurance. Conduct yourself professionally. Do not use homeowner information for purposes other than fulfilling quoted work.
7. Credit System
Tradespeople purchase credits: $500 AUD for 500 credits, $1,000 AUD for 1,200 credits (best value), $2,500 AUD for 3,000 credits. Each lead claim costs 200 credits. Credits do not expire, roll over indefinitely, are non-refundable except at our discretion, and are non-transferable. Referral program: 200 credit one-time bonus when referred tradie spends 1,000 credits; plus ongoing 5% of all credits spent by referred tradie on leads forever. Referral credits have no cash value.
8. Payments
Processed by Stripe. All prices AUD inclusive of GST. We do not store card details.
9. Prohibited Conduct
No unlawful use, false information, harassment, circumventing the platform, scraping, unauthorised access, malicious files, fake reviews, or spam.
10. Intellectual Property
Price Your Plans owns all platform IP. Users retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant us a licence to store and display it for platform operation.
11. Ratings and Reviews
Must be honest and based on genuine experience. We may remove false or defamatory reviews.
12. Disclaimers
We do not guarantee quality of tradesperson work, that quotes will be accepted, or accuracy of all user-provided information. We are not an employer of any tradesperson.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Total liability limited to amounts paid in the 3 months preceding a claim. Nothing excludes consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
14. Dispute Resolution
User disputes handled directly between users. Disputes with us: contact legal@priceyourplans.com.au first. Governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of Terms or fraudulent activity. Unused credits forfeited on termination unless we determine otherwise.
16. Changes to Terms
Material changes notified 14 days in advance by email or in-app notification.
17. Governing Law
Laws of New South Wales, Australia.
